Dentiste de rue
(photo : Bernard O'Gara)
You are looking at ONE B&W Photograph of a street dentist, administering a shot of anesthetic to a young client. The table is filled with pulled teeth. It was taken in Can Tho, Ba Xuyen Provence in 1970.
This photograph was reproduced from the original negative and printed on Kodak paper around 1990. It measures just over 7.5 inches by almost 9.5 inches. There is one small crease at the bottom, not noticable. The photo is not cropped perfectly even, and the corners are lightly worn. There are faint white lines and specks from the original negative.
This photograph was taken by my father, Specialist 4th Class Bernard O'Gara, Sr. while serving as a Medic with the 4th Division S-5 Civilian Affairs in the Central Highlands, and as a Medical Advisor with M.A.C.V., Advisory Team 145 in the Mekong Delta, Republic of Vietnam 1970-71.
